Stop Playing the Game Campaign

So many times in youth ministry we can get caught up in the game.  The game of trying to find significance in gaining a stronger voice on twitter, facebook and our sphere of influence.

We can get caught up in the game of seeking for significance in knowing and being known by “superstar” leaders in the Christian world.

If we don’t guard our heart we will spend more time doing things that further our personal kingdom than we do on things that further HIS kingdom.

What if we stopped playing the game?

What if we simply found significance in doing what God has called us to do, and not counting the number of people that are watching us do it?

What if all we did was focus our energy on how we could worship Jesus, preach Jesus and bring people to Jesus?  What if we stopped playing the game and simply served our King?

Lets stop playing the game!

Lets use Social Media as a tool for His Kingdom rather than our ego.

Lets pray more and talk less.

Lets spend more time preparing our messages than we do sending messages on our phone.

Lets stop looking for ways to climb the ministry ladder and simply minister to whoever HE places before us.

Lets stop playing the game!
